Worsley Delph

The start of the canal system in the UK was based at Worsley. Iron ore was mined at Worsley and the Ore was transported by a newly formed canal that connected the ore to Manchester.

Salford Council restored the area where the entrance of the mines came out and put into the boats.

The features manufactured by DP structures include crane replica, starvation boats and various hand rails and barriers.

Pendle Witch Sculpture - Alice Nutter

A statue to commemorate Alice Nutter, one of the best known of the 'Pendle Witches'.

The statue has been innovatively fabricated from Brass and Cor-Ten steel.

Leyland Horse

The 4m high horse sculpture has been crafted from Cor-Ten weathering steel, stainless steel and brass.

The sculpture is reflective of the role the horse and cart played in Leyland’s evolution as a market town.

Nelson War Memorial

DP Studio created a contemporary styled stone and glass war memorial, designed to complement its heritage town centre setting.

The Violet - Science Park - Broadbent Studio

‘The Violet’ is a distinctive Cor-Ten steel sculpture piece with violet glass inserts, crafted and constructed by DP Studio.

The sculpture was designed externally by artist Stephen Broadbent and forms part of a series of sculptural features within the grounds of Daresbury Science Park.
