‘The Violet’ is a distinctive Cor-Ten steel sculpture piece with violet glass inserts, crafted and constructed by DP Studio.
The sculpture was designed externally by artist Stephen Broadbent and forms part of a series of sculptural features within the grounds of Daresbury Science Park.
The Shuttle is a contemporary styled 12m-high Cor-Ten steel monument. The sculpture represents the town's historical significance in textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution.
It forms an iconic focal point within the town centre as part of an award-winning regeneration scheme.
This 12m long footbridge is a replica of the style of bridge used in World War I called an ‘Inglis’ bridge. The use of cast iron joints and galvanised steel tube was utilised to enhance the design.
A striking contemporary gateway feature at the main entrance into the town.
